I took up cigarette smoking (dumb) for a short time because it seemed to relieve me of the symptoms, which is why I opted for the jpouch.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989581399753968079.post-17117107269518639322011-06-06T20:09:40.325+02:002011-06-06T20:09:40.325+02:00Paula,

It is an immune suppressant drug.

Most amazing thing was that I could walk after each 6 weekly shot, I mean within an hour of finishing the IV infusion. Just walk out of the hospital having stumbled in on sticks.

Hoping it all works out for you. We are all in the crap together in the end. So I am hoping for you.

Aarkayeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09863542411248361164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989581399753968079.post-90547386704896101792011-05-11T01:19:57.402+02:002011-05-11T01:19:57.402+02:00@Arkayeff - Oh, that wasn't good at all. I kn...@Arkayeff - Oh, that wasn't good at all. I knew in my days of smoking that cigarettes often made me run to the toilet, so I was prepared to be close to a bathroom when I tried this one out. Into Day 6 now, no noticeable difference, but who knows what is going on in there. Went to the GI yesterday and had a drug change so I'll blog about that next week maybe after the first set of blood results...I'm on Imuran now...and yep I've done the research and I'm taking the risk :( - did you use that drug at all?Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12138838311414337663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989581399753968079.post-25467124581604310632011-05-10T09:55:27.688+02:002011-05-10T09:55:27.688+02:00Hi Paula,

It was a long time ago.

http://memumandtheworld.blogspot.com/2009/02/t-minus-1-its-0430-and-i-have-awoken-to.html

As you will see it had a disastrous effect on me, but I think this was because I got the strongest gum I could, and was too eager to try it.

Your approach sounds a lot more measured and I wish you the very best with it. Let us know how it goes.

Tranquility.arkayeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09863542411248361164noreply@blogger.com
